Ms. Dyer is a seasoned leader with
over with over 20 years of demonstrated success in producing
proactive resources to develop and address needs of
clients as individuals, in community and organizational
settings; developing programs to respond to changing
community needs. She works collaboratively and creatively to motivate and

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Concern: Program operated in ways that
did not support its continued existence—Implemented
office management structures, developed policies to
facilitate client tracking and needs assessment, scheduled
supportive events, developed volunteer mentors.
Results: Developed supportive
infrastructure, policies and support to allow successful
adaptation to changing financial, scholastic and other
needs for program constituency.
Concern: Programming needed to be developed
and implemented based on recognition of leadership overwhelmed
by volume and intensity of needs of service population—Conceptualized
a project that would address the needs, communicated
this possible solution to a clear problem and built
support, organized the necessary team to construct the
project, developed program infrastructure, provided
trouble-shooting, encouragement, motivation, redirect
and focus as needed towards accomplishing completed
project.
Result: Developing
a dynamic responsive project for organization to address
the needs of service population.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Concern: Program approaching financial
difficulty due to poor planning and management yet had
increasing and sometimes conflicting demands for growth—Developed
appropriate planning for financial reorganization, communicated
needs to and solicited support from leadership.
Result: Organization
refocused priorities, planned phase implementation for
multi-year goals and targeted new management goals to
address the evolving needs.
LEADERSHIP / MOTIVATION
Concern: Managed a group of inexperienced
staff and volunteer leaders who were overwhelmed and
discouraged at the thought of having to lead others—Implemented
on-the-job training processes, encouraged, motivated
and developed the leaders.
Result: Retention
and skill development of a group leader previously on
the verge of quitting.
Concern: Managed
efforts impacting frequently serviced clients with fragmented
service provision—Negotiated conflict resolution
between community providers, advocated for creative,
original and proactive treatment planning for clients
based on trends in client presentation.
Result: Motivated
the workers assigned to and benefiting clients, which
generated improved quality of service provision.
